At least last 120 years Mumbai City has never been directly hit by Cyclone. In Nov 2009 fast weakening Cyclone Phyan made landfall just south of Mumbai around Alibag.Fitting if 2020 of all years could be the one when it happens. Exact landfall would be either 100km south or north
of Mumbai City which is very close. Anywhere between Palghar and Shrivardhan.
Saying again its still nothing to panic about. Just stay home tomorrow. Mumbai has seen heavier rains than what we will get tomorrow. It will be windy than normal with speed of 40-50 kmph gusting to 60 kmph. In some areas stronger gust. With storm surge of 1m above tide.
