Though I knew him that he is a Town Nazim ( Chairman) of Gadap Karachi. But we had not many interactions before, on 12th May I was part of public rally in support of then sacked CJP iftikhar m choudary. When we reached Malir halt Karachi,

There were bullets coming 4m everywhere, #MQM terrorists suddenly dispersed entire rally, 4 next 5 hours, we kept hiding ourselves undr buses & cars, bcz they were shooting 4m every nook & corner, saw dozens of political workers dying beneath these cars, aftr being hit by bullets

Around 5. P.M a police officer Raja Altaf Hussain reached there at the scene though Rangers wing was just at 2 minutes walk where 100s of Ranger personals are stationed even today and they kept watching people being killed entire day from morning to dusk.

Police office Raja Altaf Hussain arrested some of us and took us on his mobile towards Malir 15, where he saw MQM guys chasing and opening fires. We all ran out of the police mobile and escaped from there in an ambulance which
ws carrying injured activists.

As entire city was close and MQM had taken over Karachi, ambulances had no choise to go anywhere other than Pakistan Steel Hospital which is at dead end of Karachi & where PPP enjoys majority. It was safe but for injured we need immediate surgeries and surgeons. Most of its

Doctors used to live in main city and as city was closed since morning so we had to move all injured activists to Baqai hospital using linkroad as it was closed to Malir cant and of a senior Doctor was present there for immediate surgeries of injured.

Around 8 o clock I and one of my another fellow reached Baqai hospital where already there were dozens of injured being treated, now here comes the role of murtaza Baloch. As we reached there, we saw most injured have no attendant.90% were without any attendant.

Doctors of Baqai told us that they are ready for surgeries but we need certain medicines for OT as we are currently having shortage to deal with these many. I had only 30 rupees in my pocket. Suddenly I saw #MurtazaBaloch arriving there. I told him the situation.

He took his cell phone out of his pocket, and on the other side there was some PAKISTAN Army'a colonal whom he told everything, after talking to him, he gave me around 50,000, telling his driver to go with me and bring whatever its available in malir cant stores.

And areas near by which have hospitals & medical stores. He also left with someone and when he came back he had medicines needed, fruits, biscuits and bread. He was there till late night and none of the injured was from his community of votebank but he treated them like his own.

RIP Murtaza Baloch. You are no more with us. But you will always be remembered as a giant of Malir Karachi.
