Sometimes last year when Senator Abbo assaulted two ladies, what came of it?
Some said that he has apologised, apology is not enough tho
How many women know the female legislators that we have in the National Assembly (Senate & Reps)
Apart from social media noise, how many actually followed up with protest and calls for legislation to seek justice for the tape victims or domestic violence
Rape is another type of killer pandemic just like hunger and Coronavirus in Nigeria, not only the Nigerian government, even the victims and relatives are accomplices with their silence.
Tag out the rape victims and let the law deal with them, call on legislators to pass laws that will make them suffer their lives.
The family should do more too, but most times, severe punishment influences proper and adequate adjustment even faster than what any specialist or reformist will do.
Punish, castrate, tag and disgrace rapists....intending rapists will stop and their fellow criminals will learn from Scape goats

Choosing a NEXT OF KIN is not a herculean task and definitely not something one can do in a hurry or just pick anyone like we pick up data randomly to fill up a form as we are used to.
For unmarried folks, one's parents may be the best, or one of your siblings in whom you have confidence to carry on your estate or business in the case you pass away (May you live long but don't be too religious, we will die someday🙂).
While single, choosing a girlfriend/boyfriend or fiancée/fiance as your Next-of-Kin is one of the funniest thing I see people do because no matter how close you may be, you are still single until you marry, so the best choice still remains your family.
I saw a picture of a boy doing a bus conductor @TheNationNews twitter handle and it sparked some memories that I believe it's not yet time to share.
But believe me, when you see people struggle that much, fight to live a better life like a wounded lion

It's borne out the raging desire not to be an outlaw and neither condemn yourself to the demeaning attitude of begging for a living, but rather be a provider amidst the stringent living conditions and harsh realities that we have been created to live with in this

yet-to-be-great country of ours.
Many of us, like that young boy, don't take NO for an answer and don't even want to believe that it's impossible to achieve our goals in life.
So, we set to do what we have to do, simply because our dreams are more important to us

I support this, it doesn't make any sense that the Federal government in their strong opposition will come back to claim it will supervise Amotekun. Who does that and who does not know it is a ploy to render Amotekun useless like some of their many security agencies.l
Lest we forget, Amotekun was created because the Federal Government failed to protect the people and curtail the excesses of criminal in the southwest, for them to come out now and claim that they want to start supervising Amotekun through one of their many useless and failing...
..security agencies which have either proven ineffective or bias towards a region.
The Federal government should remember that the country is a Federation with the states as federating units of their own wielding the power to make their own laws as they deem fit in governance..
The supreme court judgement that allows female children to inherit their parents properties after death is worthy of commendation and celebration. I just can't stomach how some cultures go down to deprive a particular gender what should outrightly be their right because of gender
We live in a very crazy world, and funny enough in a very funny society where the least impossible expectation play out before us like an Indian movie. Where culture plays a role in characterizing relationship between a man and a woman, while also dictating what to do and not do.
Anybody who wants to do humanity any good should embrace humanity and fight all these absurd culturally and traditionally induced peer pressure that has caused rancour among gender rights activists on both sides of the gender. I do not support feminism but I support the...
HONOURABLE ABBAS AGBOWORIN: One of the Inarobo Makinde Tsunami Beneficiary of the 2019 Fallout in Ibadan.
As much as I believe a good grammar is not a yardstick for performance in any political office entrusted in one's hand, it is a big disaster when the political office holder's performance is mediocre and more painful when he cannot express his or herself in simple English.
My humble self being a bonfide son of Àgbò ilé Delesolu ìn Òjé ibadan, Honourable Abbas Agboworin is automatically my big brother from Alafara Òjé But this is beyond blood, the people of our constituency deseves more than this, yes this...
But everyone always try to cover up because of stigma and fear, while some of those that opened up do it for clout , thereby creating a distrust from concerned parties who will push the fight on their behalf, until the very terrible happened like the Uwa's case.
Rape is a serious crime, that should be dealt with in proper legislation, social castigation and follow-up of justice, while the false accusers should be santioned too
Yesterday, a video popped up of a lady being assaulted by a grown man, and instead of hell to let loose,...
...the lady was recording, not one video but two
Come on, what happened to a slap, what happened to a call out and what happened to letting the bastard son of Lucifer face his destruction
