Consider this, what if what we're seeing isn't white supremacy. What if what we're seeing is white people reacting to decades of liberal's portrayal of black people as lazy, ignorant, cowering, immature, poorly spoken, militant, criminal, sex fiend, violent, social burdens? -VJ
If you look at the way black people are portrayed in the media, and have been for decades, you don't see heroes for the most part. The closest a black person ever usually gets to a hero is as the white hero's cowering sidekick. Many stereotypes are ingrained by liberal media. -VJ
I don't believe the solution lies with white people. I think that's the reason this never gets solved. Democrats have told black people they don't need to elevate. Ghetto is now an actual style. "Urban" music is a genre. We've accepted our "place" and are being left behind. -VJ
The problem is, the liberals have made it a mortal sin to even suggest that black people take responsibility. They've convinced us that it's not even worth attempting to rise because the evil white supremacists are just going to beat us back down. But is that accurate? No. -VJ
What if tomorrow... every black person in the United States decided to become a part of the solution? What if instead of seeing ourselves as "black" we see ourselves as Americans? I know this is a fantasy because the Democrats would never allow it, but what if that happened? -VJ
I don't know how to break the conditioning liberals have been pounding into our heads for decades. I'm a victim of it too. But I'm certain at least half, if not more than half the responsibility lies with black people in consciously REJECTING the liberal image of ourselves. -VJ
Langston Hughes tells the story of sitting on a bus as the only black person on a bus full of white people, and at one stop a black wino gets on the bus and begins acting out. The whites turned to Langston as if to get him to intervene, because they couldn't DARE intervene. -VJ
And as if by magic... Twitter starts trending yet ANOTHER one of those movies rife with Hollywood conditioning. Here's a black man who's the victim of... wait for it... RACIAL INJUSTICE! It's like a dang broken record out of Hollywood. Let's see a BLACK NEUROSURGEON movie! -VJ
