Is MUSIC Halal or Haram?

Music is Haram in islam as it’s prohibited in Quran & Hadith
- Q31:6
(And of mankind is he who purchases idle talks (i.e. music,singing) to mislead(men) from the path of Allah)
- Q53:59-61

Is there a good/bad Music?

There’s no good music⚠️

- All musics are Haram, provided that there is Musical instruments played.
- Even if you’re reciting Quran or praising the Prophet SAW & playing sounds along with it, it’s Haram!

2/

They sing “Tala’al badaru...” to the prophet SAW?

NO! That song has to Authentic Isnad(chain of transmission), & hence it’s a lie, even if it’s reported in many Sirah books!
- There’s no Hadith to back that up
- It’s false

So it doesn’t make music Halal⚠️

Is there musical instrument allowed?

YES, Daff (with no rings)
- it’s a hand-drum

WOMEN only are allowed to use daff in some occasions.

Who is allowed to Sing, how & when?

- Women are allowed to Sing

How?
- be in a place where there’s no man
- they should not use bad words & no lies

When?
- On Eid or during weddings.

Note;
- Men are not allowed to be there while they do it.

OVERVIEW
• All the 4 Madhahibs believe music is Haram
- No opposite view

• Clearly,
- it’s Haram
- it’s not permissible to be a Musician
- it’s not permissible to listen to it
- it’s voice of shaytān, it hardens the heart
- it’s idle talk, waste of time.

It’s disappointing how Muslims today, cherish & honor music & musicians!
- it’s a career
- Parents & Society encourage it
- It’s a must in many events
- It’s normalized as if it’s not a Sin

Wallahi this is a Fitnah!
- It doesn’t matter how evrybdy is Okay with it, it’s HARAM
