Trump first describes reports that he went down to the White House bunker as a "false report," then he admits that he did go but "it was much more for an inspection," rather than out of fear of protesters. "I've gone down two or three times all for inspection."
Trump goes on to say he went down to the bunker "for a very short period of time" as "an inspecting factor."
Trump dismisses clergy who criticized his Bible photo-op: "Most religious leaders loved it ... It's only the other side that didn't like it, you know the opposing -- the opposition party as the expression goes."
Asked to address black distrust of the police due to brutality and mistreatment, Trump goes on at length about his poll numbers (which are actually very poor with black voters) and complains about how the media reports on his speeches. He never addresses the core issue.
