Dear brothers, this is another reason why you mustn't take false rape allegation lightly, in this part of the world.

Rapists deserve this because they destroy lives and so does false allegations of rape. Take none of these two lightly!!!

I won't condemn this because this criminal has destroyed the life of that girl, and this punishment/death will serve as a deterrent to other intending rapists. This culture will instill fear and correctness to our society.

Who should be one's NEXT OF KIN?

Choosing a NEXT OF KIN is not a herculean task and definitely not something one can do in a hurry or just pick anyone like we pick up data randomly to fill up a form as we are used to.
For unmarried folks, one's parents may be the best, or one of your siblings in whom you have confidence to carry on your estate or business in the case you pass away (May you live long but don't be too religious, we will die someday🙂).
While single, choosing a girlfriend/boyfriend or fiancée/fiance as your Next-of-Kin is one of the funniest thing I see people do because no matter how close you may be, you are still single until you marry, so the best choice still remains your family.

I support this, it doesn't make any sense that the Federal government in their strong opposition will come back to claim it will supervise Amotekun. Who does that and who does not know it is a ploy to render Amotekun useless like some of their many security agencies.l
Lest we forget, Amotekun was created because the Federal Government failed to protect the people and curtail the excesses of criminal in the southwest, for them to come out now and claim that they want to start supervising Amotekun through one of their many useless and failing...
..security agencies which have either proven ineffective or bias towards a region.

The Federal government should remember that the country is a Federation with the states as federating units of their own wielding the power to make their own laws as they deem fit in governance..

The supreme court judgement that allows female children to inherit their parents properties after death is worthy of commendation and celebration. I just can't stomach how some cultures go down to deprive a particular gender what should outrightly be their right because of gender
We live in a very crazy world, and funny enough in a very funny society where the least impossible expectation play out before us like an Indian movie. Where culture plays a role in characterizing relationship between a man and a woman, while also dictating what to do and not do.

But everyone always try to cover up because of stigma and fear, while some of those that opened up do it for clout , thereby creating a distrust from concerned parties who will push the fight on their behalf, until the very terrible happened like the Uwa's case.
Rape is a serious crime, that should be dealt with in proper legislation, social castigation and follow-up of justice, while the false accusers should be santioned too
