Driving through San Bernardino. There were riots here Monday night. Seeing quite a few boarded up buildings. 
One business has a sign that says “small business supporting BLM” to discourage looters.
I just spoke to a black employee at the Burger King who was almost in tears. She said people rushed the lobby when the riots happened. Now people are scared to come in because they see it boarded up.
A small Mexican retataursnt was hit but people are turning up to support.
Black Lives Matter is set up outside the Waterman Discount Mall offering free food, drinks, baby supplies, masks, etc.
They’re encouraging everyone in the area to come out.
Organizers tell me this isn’t a BLM-sponsored event. It’s actually being put on by Sistas Making a Difference, Sisters Fighting for Change, The Dino Can, and the Muda Foundation. They saw what happened earlier this week and they wanted to support the community.
This event was put together in less than 24 hours as a way to give back to the community, DJ Muda, founder of the Muda Foundation, said.
