I know the gov in Pak is hopefully trying its best but is being arm-twisted by industry lobbyists and mafia, so here's some suggestions.

They may have probably thought of these but still, bears repeating:

1. Create one, unified, NATIONAL and NOT provincial level messaging around COVID19 now that we're close to 100,000 cases.

The provincial govs can localise the messaging, but it MUST be a unified message nationally.

2. Make the messaging in all major languages, not just English and Urdu

Get agencies to help. We have massive agencies that are able to run million-rupee content right now for their client brands. Get them to create messaging around your COVID19 plan. No excuse for saying no.

3. The messaging needs to be orders, NOT suggestions or 'please'.

Stop being cowardly, stop being complacent, start sounding like STATE/NATIONAL LEADERS

4. Impose actionable fines and MESSAGE about the fines

The reason everyone's doing whatever the fk they want is because no one's holding them accountable.

Start holding them accountable AND charge them. Thousands are dying. No excuses for leniency.

5. Use ALL available channels and get all print, radio, TV, news, online vendors and owners to broadcast pro-bono.

It is a national fkn duty for everyone who has influence on and in any of the above mentioned channels to help. Cost is not a problem, THEY are a problem.

6. IF a cost is unavoidable, get philanthropists to fund it. There's no fkn excuse any more for them to not do so

7. Order the police, armed forces and rangers to patrol and monitor SOPs not being followed in high density areas

8. Deploy rangers protection at all major COVID hospitals. Not police alone any more, as crowds are easily overwhelming them.

9. Have a daily briefing every evening at 9pm by the chief medical person in charge. NOT a politician.

10. Finally, personally to Imran Khan himself:
