The worst week for America in my lifetime ends with George Floyd's funeral being turned into a platform for one of the worst racists in America who uses it to attack whites saying "for 401 years white America has had its knee on our necks."
401 years takes us back to 1599 when no whites were in North America (and no Africans either). That American knee of course had nothing to do with the revolutionary proclamation that all men are created equal, or with inspiring 350,000 mainly white men to lay down their lives for
black freedom, or with creating through struggle a society in which black Americans have more power, more opportunity, more wealth&more privilege than blacks anywhere in the world including all of black Africa&the Caribbean where Haitian blacks have been independent for 200 years
