2. Engage with these four questions. They come from the #BreakRank chat about Erakat and Gorski's article that @ChristieNold and I hosted last summer. Write your answers down. Tweet them out if the spirit moves you. They are still just as relevant. 
3. Examine the responses in the spreadsheet below. We asked our BIPOC colleagues what they need from white folx in this work. Take some time to read—and sit with—the responses so graciously offered by our fellow BIPOC educators. docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d….

5. Think about ONE thing you can do in your space to support BIPOC colleagues as they’ve asked to be supported. Write yourself an action plan for the next year. Be brave but pragmatic. Find an accountability partner who will check in throughout the year to ensure follow through.
If we want to see real change in the world, we white folx have to act. If you haven't been sure where to start, doing this will give you an entry point to the work. There's much to do after this, but sitting idly by is not an option. 🙏💛
