The docs show officials were concerned and confused about how vaccines will be distributed once available. For example, a Nevada HHS Immunization Program Manager asked questions about who would qualify for vaccines, how they would be distributed, and who would cover the costs.
A 4/29 email from a CDC official suggested limited supplies of vaccines may be available as early as this fall. The official emphasized that “it is imperative the public health community prepares now” to administer the vaccine.
