Man. If you think the NFL is serious with any progressive statement and that those ghoulish owners didn’t make a PR decision, I don’t know what to tell you.
The corporate statements are completely toothless at best and insulting at worst, but it’s hard to deny that these businesses and the wealthy and powerful have come to understand the future belongs to diversity, inclusivity, and basic human decency.
Also, I missed it, but I assume the NFL announced that their new perspective on racism was coupled with the announcement that Washington would change their team's name.
