Dear twitter friends, the situation in Delhi is getting worse, the twitter feed is full of people dying or going to 4 to 5 hospitals without finding a bed. So with a group of colleagues and the team @CharityBeds_ we will start updating some details on twitter and Facebook.

We will call the hospital numbers, check if the phone is being picked up, sometimes it may still not get picked up. We will share data points like at 5 pm today, Batra Hospital does not have any Covid beds. We will try our best and sometimes we may not have the right information

But the team at Charity Beds, Gagan and Lalit will do what they can to help, we are not the govt nor the hospital, we are people like you, and we are starting this now. So here is update 1 as of 6.45 PM Saturday.

LNJP, (Lok Nayak hospital number
01123232400) is working, COVID +ve patients need to go to Gate No. 4, LNJP hospital and ask for the duty officer. There are beds available and we have checked.

Update 2 at 6.55 pm Saturday. Covid beds available at GTB Hospital also, number to call and check is 01122586262. We have called and spoken. @virsanghvi @Suhelseth @BDUTT @rahulkanwal , please spread the message, we will update status and our team @CharityBeds_ will help.

Update 3 at 7.30 pm, Saturday - Safdarjung Hospital is only taking SERIOUS patients on priority. The doctor on duty will take a call if the patient needs to be admitted. The number for Safdarjung Super Speciality block is 01126761225

Update 4 - DO NOT GO TO RML HOSPITAL, no Covid Beds. Please go to LNJP. Before going, call the number in Update 1. A lot of people are going to RML hospital, they have ZERO beds as of now. Do not waste time.

Update 6 - Saturday, 8 pm - Fortis Escorts Okhla is full and NO COVID BEDS available. DO NOT GO THERE.

Update 7 - 8.20 pm - We have been speaking to a lot of doctors in all hospitals. There is a shortage of doctors and nursing staff, we are sure in Mumbai also, maybe the Army doctors and nursing staff can help in these two cities. @PMOIndia @ArvindKejriwal . Tremendous pressure.

Update 8 - This is from doctors we are talking to - Sir I would request you all to urge for reimposition of a strict lockdown in Delhi NCR for a week till there’s adequate supplies of Atleast Remdesivir/Favipiravir, Toliciluzumab and Plasma to enable a decent fight against Covid.

Update 9 - 8.30 pm - Cygnus Orthocare, Hauz Khas can admit 10 more Corona patients. Just spoke to them. Contact : 01142505050

Update 10 - 9.20 pm - Gangaram Hospital has very few beds and that also for private patients with a minimum deposit. It’s now a Covid only hospital, call before going at 01142254000.

Update 11 - 10.30 pm - Satyawadi Raja Harishchandra Hospital, Narela has 200 beds for Covid patients but we are unable to get in touch with them.We will get information in the morning for that. Anyone in Narela, who can go and tell us ? We will update.That’s a big number of beds.

Update 12 - 11 pm, Saturday, the govt has mandated hospitals to accept the all cases even if you don’t have a positive or negative report and provide all medical attention in Delhi. That’s your right. All you need to do is to go to a hospital which has beds available.

Update 13 - By tomorrow except our coverage to increase to more hospitals. But it’s a Sunday so phones may not be picked up, we will have our people go and check physically in some cases. Both RML and Gangaram are severely stretched so do not go there without calling.

Update 14 - 10.30 am Sunday - ICMR approved labs for testing are here for COVID 19. Get a test done, go to the hospital only if symptoms are bad, like being breathless. Do not panic.

Hakeem Abdul Hameed Centenary Hospital, locally knows as Majeediya at Guru Ravidas Marg, Block D, Hamdard Nagar, Delhi has around 70% Covid Beds available with 10 beds for EWS/ Poor patients. Contact : 01126059669

Update 19 - Sir Ganga Ram Hospital continues to have limited beds for private patients. Before going to the hospital you can email COVID +ve report and a copy of Aadhar Card of the patient to [e-mail]. There is a deposit to be paid.Contact : 011 42254000

Update 20 - NO BEDS available at St Stephens hospital. Please avoid going there.

Update 21 - 11 am - Human Care Medical Charitable Trust, also known as Manipal Hospital, Sector - 6 Dwarka.

Update 28 - Missed tagging the other 3 tweets but you can find them. The biggest challenge is that with this 20% rule in private hospitals, all health workers including doctors are at risk of getting infected, if that happens, it will be even tougher. Stay at home for a week.

Update 29 - 3 pm, Sunday, IMPORTANT. Saroj Super Speciality Hospital, 011 4790 3333, Bhagawan Mahavir Marg,Near Madhuban Chowk, Block A,Sector 14, Rohini will be taking patients from tomorrow. All 154 beds will be available.Deposit 4 lacs, so private & expensive but bed is there.

Spoke with Dr. Yadav (ICU In charge) and he gave a detailed information on Corona. Also,hospital will take serious patients with difficulty in breathing.

Update 32 - Sunday, 7 pm - Dharamshila Narayana Hospital, Metro Station, Dharamshila marg, Vasundhara Enclave Near Ashok Nagar will have 30 beds ready in 2 days. Contact 7370073700.

Update 33 - 8.30 pm - Good work by @ArvindKejriwal and team, bigger list for testing centres. Call before you go.

Update 34 - 9.30 am, Monday - We will update hospital bed status across the city. But if you can DO ONE THING, STAY AT HOME OR AVOID MEETING PEOPLE FOR A WEEK, please. 90% of people have mild symptoms, if you are in the other 10%, getting an ICU bed is tough and costs 5 lacs.

Update 35- 10.15 am,Monday - Tirath ram shah hospital is full.No COVID beds are available.As per the Delhi govt app, it is showing 21 beds as the last update was YESTERDAY at 4 pm. Can we please have someone update beds real time ? @SatyendarJain

Update 36 - Delhi govt has hired more ambulances and vehicles also. ONLY call in case of an emergency @CharityBeds_ Spread the word.
