When my daughter started college, I warned her that if she came home a Bernie Bro, we’d pull her out of school. (She didn’t, quite the opposite.) If you’re a parent being bullied by your child, apologizing for your race, and submitting to their demands, you’re doing it wrong:
The pressure on these kids to follow the crowd is tremendous—especially kids who are conservative. I’m infuriated by the intimidation tactics I see on social media. Teach your kids to think independently and reject the mob instead of capitulating. And don’t do it yourself.
