We have a critical situation that is currently not being reported at the moment. Pexiglas. Factories in US are running full out trying fulfill the insane demand for Pexiglas. Why for the dumb "sneeze shields" being installed everywhere even after the epidemic has "passed"
Got to talk to a person who installs the stuff, its an expensive joke. The Shield is almost literally unusable think aerodynamics and how particulate flows. But, also remember Pexiglass can be used for other uses even military, and riot shields. Think on that for a moment.
So the sneeze shields are eating up massive supplies of pexiglas that can be used for more useful and beneficial products, and after all is said and done most will be landfilled or scrapped. Which sheet of pexiglass is not cheap and doesn't degrade. Prices skyrocketing to buy.
The backlog on orders is insane. And when the raw Pexiglas arrives the local orders just destroy inventory. We are seeing some seriously dangerous boom bust developments in the market due to the insanity Wuhan 400 has spawned. Our economy is on shaky ground because of this.
If you think on it. When one re-tools an entire economy to very specific materials. Whether its a national emergency or war. Other sectors begin to suffer drastically, because resources and raw materials have been deliberately redirected sometimes mal-invested. Consider this.
The other issue is the fact that the U.S. factories even working 24/7 can not supply the demand. It also shows the flaw of the "just in time" logistics model we were all put on as well. With internal Pexiglas supplies taking forever, while importing from CHINA is faster! WTH?😠
But, also in hindsight, the most Critical situation is this. The U.S. is about to run out of the raw chemicals to manufacture Pexiglas. Alert. The U.S. is about to run out of the raw chemical materials to manufacture Pexiglas. These same chemicals can be used for other products.
We need to have a major discussion on the situation in our country as it pertains to the logistics chains and supply networks. Because we are already seeing the major issues because of Wuhan 400. Our country has literally been gutted of many manufacturing jobs and capacity to do.
Begin the discussions on the subject ASAP. Think on that. What factories have been re-tooled for medical supplies? In that being done, what items did they first make, are now not being produced or produced at reduced levels. There are several ways to create economic collapse.
One not very well talked about one is the fact that materials can be deliberately forced into one sector and be rerouted to produce products that are use specific. We need, to be aware of this at this moment. Considering Transport Capacity as well. There is a finite capacity.
What happens when you either under-use or overuse said transportation assets? Remember many corps have a term. "Deferred Maintenance." Which is a really big issue. Be prepared to see more accidents due to lack of maintenance caused failures in every sector of the economy.
For every truck wrecked, damaged, totaled, or pulled out for repair or replacement means a set number of shipments can not be moved. This then snowballs onto remaining vehicles which further complicates matters. So you are seeing the systematic cracks beginning to show in this.
Also this might intrigue many.

You have to ask questions about the shipping sector of our economy, because they are starting to show some serious problems all around. Especially Amazing is starting to do some actually crazy packaging of orders. Like a 26x12x4 box for a kids book? Shortages of boxes now.
We have to start demanding a return to the Warehouse Model of supply chain, this just in time logistics is going to be a problem. Also Amazing is about to get a new competitor. There is a company coming on the scene soon you will see it and you will be shocked.
Here is their business Model. You buy screwdriver, the screwdriver is no longer needed or was wrong. "Traditionally" you would return said screwdriver for refund. But here is this wizardry gets weird for this idea. Another customer wants screwdriver. Buys it from company.
So instead of returning it to warehouse to be sorted, quality checked, or discarded/trashed/recycled. This company has the concept of sending "returns" forward to another customer! We don't need no warehouse or storage facility its too expensive! Its insanity! Should be opposed!
This system is the logical step in the evolution of the "Just in Time" Logistics mantra. They are now willing to cut out the warehousing and packing sectors. It will now fall on their "partner" shipping companies to "pack" items to be shipped to the next customer. Not right!
Please Consider what is going on all fronts in the economy and be mindful of things that should not be happening. If you look around, alot of things are being BETA tested without much oversight and scrutiny from the public distracted by other things going on. Be mindful.
