We Progs. Libs & Dems should probably think out the wording of our messages, to win the hearts & minds of voters.
"Defund The Police" scares some folks. "Reallocate Police funding" sounds better, but still needs work.

"Democratic Socialist" turns way more people off than "Social Democrat" (due to decades GOP vilifying & misinterpreting the word "Socialist"

"Universal Healthcare" is more palatable to middle America than "Single-Payer" or "Medicare for All"
The GOP has done a better job of messaging than we have - partly cuz the purists among us won't compromise on wording any more than they'll compromise on strategy & tactics.
