As far as I'm concerned, Colston should stay in the river until Bristol takes ownership of its past + builds a proper slavery museum, like Liverpool. Then Colston can be hauled out and put on display in it, in the condition that he comes out the river. #ColstonHasFallen
Also worth bearing in mind that the statue is a bit of late Victorian tat built 150 years after Colston's death - no-one knows what he looked like
