This thread is going to cover to finally see if the Princesses as characters stack up or are they just funny one note sitcom characters! We will see if combined they equal one full Mekaneck. OR IF EVEN ONE OF THEM GETS ANYTHING!
This will also be the last time I fucking cover Netossa and Spineralla who...exist....I guess.
One big thing to note with She-ra as a show in comparison to He-man is that He-man kind of let everyone be dramatic in one form or another. Even Orko. With Princesses there first stories are basically join the rebellion and not really about them as people. Frosta got fucked.
But let's go over Mermista it's hard not to notice she's April Ludgate from Parks and Rec, and how the show keeps that even when she LOSES HER ENTIRE KINGDOM and she spends the next episode in a bathtub while Bow who is in every episode gets the focus episode!
Mermista will get a fair she's a five percent a Mekaneck, I know who she is official fan fiction writing team of She-ra so it's hard for me to not view here as just a copy paste character. Though I'm not giving a complete zero because at least Sea hawk isn't just andy.
I'm just going to call the She-ra crew the official Fan fiction writing team or OFFW for short from now on, sorry this is on short notice before the last one but damn it I can't call them the crew and take them seriously anymore.
Perfuma is a flower child stereotype who may be bi-sexual. She got one focus episode about not controlling cactus and learning a lesson not judge people. She gets some chemistry from Scorpia so they might be a push there. she will be a 25 percent mekaneck.
the OFFW of She-ra kind of just made Frosta an ice toph...I don't know she's not really a character I mean she has some depth of having to take over her kingdom, but it's just Toph, she dones't even get major focus except that she wants to be the General's little sister type...
She does help against the General when She-ra goes against her because she may destroy the planet. But I'm going to have to give her a score of 3 percent Mekaneck. She's not in a whole lot of the show you know.
Just to this out of the Spinnerla gets very little lines and her ENTIRE character is about her gf. Noelle voiced her but, Noelle is kind of bad? Like look at her line reads and you basically see WEAK LINK on every line. Noelle isn't a trained one but still.
Spinerlla gets...a hon. Because I swear her entire dialogue is either pet names or "oh Netossa" or variations. Like I think the only thing we know about her is that she like Board Games night. So far 33 percent Mekanek and a Hon.
Netossa, does get a focus episode in season 5, where she somehow knows the weaknesses of everyone in the rebellion despite being one of the ones WE SEE the least, you can count her appearing on one hand besides the opening.
Spineralla get's taken over by Horde Prime and so Netossa has to fight her gf but Netossa is so conflicted about and reveals that SPINERALLA IS HER WEAKNESS BECAUSE SHE LOVE HER SO MUCH OH GOD THAT PATHOS....
You would think that being anime watchers the would be all like Love for someone give you strength I mean look what it did in G Gundam.
But it's hard for to give netossa higher then a 10 percent, because at this point everything revolves a around her gf too even with that weakness fact. She does have some snappy lines and so where does that leave the princess and why do I use Mekaneck so much?
Because Mekaneck gets one focus episode but we are given facts about and the episode actually gives him his own arch enemy, Has has a weird power that is not standard. and it makes him stand out. Even when he gets turned into a snake he looks unique.
He also shows up in the episodes more even when he's not the focus. Keep in mind he is also ONLY one master, anytime I mention one you should realize they get a focus episode sometimes in 2002 He-man some GET MULTIPLE. Like Syclone of all people and Roboto.
This makes each one kind of stand on their own as characters and make them more unique. Ram man doesn't sound like other character or Buzz off. So He-man kind of did a better job of this despite BEING EVEN MORE OF A BLATANT TOY COMMERCIAL.

and the Princess revolve entirely around jokes and gag, which can be fine but man the fact is the writers refuse to write them out of their assign roles and show more depth. It kind of sucks to me because He-man did try to make everyone cool.
So the Princess are only 43 percent a hon and a Mekaneck. What did we learn from them? If your not the main trio fuck you, you don't get that story about you unless we can turn it into a quirky parody episode.
and so Meckaneck stands proud, a hero for all to look up to in action figure characters, he might not have an episode like Code of Hero for Dinobot but I can say he's more interesting and visually neat then any of the princesses.
