Reform cash bail. There is no good reason for almost 500,000 to sit in jail without being convicted of a crime /6:
If this sounds libertarian, well it is! Civil libertarian anyway. But the practices above undermine due process, facilitate unreasonable searches and seizures, and promulgate excessive fines. The Bill of Rights is an indispensable part of our social compact. Enforce it. /end
