My dear Dalit fellows ,

I m a first gen. learner , i lived in city from my age 5 till my graduation . I here see here on SM different types of dalit bahujans who wants to make reform in the overall society. They are daily fighting with issues such as dalit disc.,dalit killings
etc... For me that is needed and absolutely necessary to held culprits accountable , but these actions are in the category of a reactive short-term & used as a cure of problem. But if we want to not let these things happen again frequently and easily in coming times
,than our focus should be more on preventive approach.Preventive approach or for me the"ONLY" approach for emancipation of our brethren's is "EDUCATION"-A holistic education not just limited to technical field study because that will be of no use except some monetary pleasures.
If i see my own cousin's,i saw they r 1-2 generation left behind from me. They need support i.e every kind of support.Especially if they are young and school going , than they need help at the barrier in between of 10-12th grade .
Its a most biggest&difficult barrier in their "whole" life.I found maximum school dropouts in our Dalit households from this category. I found the most difficult thing for them is "English" language. Please focus on that aspect.
No teacher in school/college will tell you this aspect of your weakness. Yes , other caste fellows are also feel the burnt of this problem , but the most affected &deep down affect is on our dalit fellows. Problem is students are not aware/sensitive enough
of their difficulties in their day-2-day school study. So our responsibility is make them aware of this problem. Tell them that your main problem is english language and work on that part first. (I can write separate thread how i learn English ) Also i wud
say you also have learned/aware about lot of fields(carrier) choices (Other than doct/engg)now. So Help your younger ones to just be informed& aware of these fields eg journalism/masscom etc etc etc So they can make some informed choices by their own.I know maybe every1st gen.
Learner had/have to one's in a while have to go through this face of difficulty and learning. But still , we should also now focus on our younger gen. which if got "real" education, than the goal of our emancipation of brethren Dalits is not very far & absolutely achievable.
