...just because it started from Borno and Yobe that happen to be Northern States with high Muslim residents ratio whereas the then President was a Christian.

Claim safety first before claiming right as I quote and hence, I prefer not to talk on the factions that then existed within the BH group mostly led by Abubakar Shekau and Al_ansari's Salafist which gained the support of other terror organizations like Al_qaeda, Al_shabab, etc.
In spite of this reality, Our Northern Elders and Religious Scholars still made us believe that it was the then government that was killing us! Political Leaders were insulted and disrespected to the extent that Most of us even deviated from the Provisions of the Qur'an and.....
.. teachings of the Nabiy (SAW) on what to do when such things are happening, but rather we did not care because WE NEEDED CHANGE!
This is the same Change we Voted for during 2015 General Election and 75% of Northerners voted to muster out INSURGENCY not even HUNGER and other Social vices in killing our region.
Now, a northerner and also a Muslim is the President of the Nation but We're still witnessing such terrorism we witnessed during last administration and still in the same North.
Bandits and Kidnappers everywhere to the extent that no one is even safe anymore!

Let's put political differences, religious and ethnic sentiments aside since we all are serving the same Lord despite our various faiths, but believe it or not, Nigeria is a FAILED COUNTRY with a FAILED SYSTEM under our very own brother!
