She got a temporary restraining order in May 2016. In January 2017 she got a $7 million settlement. Some people think the money was for the abuse, to "shut her up". Some even say he admitted to abuse. That's lie. The RO order was dismissed WITH PREJUDICE in August 2016.
The $7 million were what she was entitled to by law because she and Johnny were married with no pre-nup. If she made no allegations, she'd still get money. That's the law.

A small reminder that Johnny Depp was on tour with his band at this point. So don't even try that she was happy because she was safe from him. He was not in LA and wouldn't be for months.

The letter. She asked for things in exchange for silence. Now, this states he abused her as a fact but imagine if it said "or we'll make something up", it would blew her case. Important is, she wanted to buy her "silence". He said no. An abuser would agree to her demands.
There are 87 surveillance camera videos from the week after the alleged phone throwing incident and before she got the TRO. Some can be seen in this video. She has no injuries to her face:
One of the people in this video is Laura Divenere. She filed a court sworn declaration that she saw no injuries on Amber.
Another video is from the day after the alleged phone throwing. Not only is she not visibly injured, she's also sneaking James Franco into the building, late at night in a nightgown. Sneaking him to Johnny Depp's penthouses day after he... beat her?

After Johnny left on May 21, Amber and her friends called the police. There are a lot of questions about those calls, but what's clear is the DV trained officers testified that Amber and her friends were uncooperative, there was no property damage and no injuries.

Several members of the staff at the Eastern Columbia Building where they lived, and a neighbour, also testified Amber had no injuries all week long until she went to get a RO. They also claim she asked them for "help" to give a statement to the media that they saw injuries.

Another famous claim is that in Dec 2015 Johnny headbutted her, she had 2 black eyes, a busted lip and nearly broken nose. Day after that, she appeared on Corden show. While she's wearing make-up, how would make-up hide such injuries? Witnesses testified she had none.

Amber Heard's former PA often saw her naked, never saw injuries. AH claims JD was a drunk (beating her under influence), yet Kate says AH only allowed him to drink non-alcoholic beer. She worked for her until the wedding.
Johnny has stated he had been not had alcohol for about a year before the finger incident. Which happend a month after the wedding. So there's that. Just for context to show how his "side" stays consistent. He however was addicted to painkillers, more on that later.
While this thread isn't about Amber's abuse of Johnny, a few things are important. Witnesses testified Johnny lived in fear, Amber was emotionally abusive towards him, he became more withdrawn and when she was seen attacking him, he didn't hit back.
That he didn't hit 'back' is more or less confirmed on the first released audio tape. In it, Amber accuses Johnny that he did hit back on the plane. Johnny says "I pushed you". She doesn't contradict that, instead she changes the topic. Johnny also states "the only time I ever
threw anything at you was when you were throwing cans at me in Australia." Which would be self-defense. Again, Amber doesn't contradict that. She's upset with him for not fighting with her and always leaving the room, lately even before she got physical.
He says there can be no physical violence or they have to separate, she says they don't and she can't promise she won't get physical again. It couldn't be more clear than that. Note, it was recorded in autumn 2015. Nearly at the end of their relationship.
She claimed Johnny would beat her if she challenged his authority, the audios prove that's a lie, she constantly berates and mocks him. She also stated she only hit him once in defense of her sister. Again, audios prove that's a lie. Why is it that people still believe her?
Another audio. Amber claimed Johnny nearly killed her. Yet, they only give her Seroquel for she was hysterical after what she did to Johnny. Someone who was allegedly choked, should be all bruised and bleeding... their only concern is sending her away?
Just a few weeks later, AH claims her sister put herself between her and JD, that's the "only time" she admitted to hitting him in court docs. Her sister hasn't confirmed this. The only witness who's testified gives different accounts, he also didn't see any injuries in Dec 2015.

A few things I want to mention that would take too many tweets:
Most importantly HE TOOK IT BACK RIGHT AWAY, saying he could never take his anger out on her. Instead he said he'd take a pill to "numb the pain" But that part was mysteriously left out in most articles. A year later he was battling a pain killer addiction.

There are also contradictions between her 2016 decl., her deposition, 2019 decl., media statements, and her witnesses' statements. Her photos don't match, she hasn't given metadata (and tried to get his digital expert witness thrown out). That would be a fine thread on its own.
Note, no witness ever saw him abuse her, just claim to seen the aftermath or what Amber told them.

A very odd thing I need to point out: In the ECB, Johnny owned a whole floor, with five penthouses. Amber demanded she'd be given P1, P3 and P5. Meaning Johnny could keep P2 and P4... Being able to come in as he'd please?
Look at the floor plan. Would she not be afraid he could come and abuse her again whenever? And this demand was before the RO. He would be allowed there, she would have no protection.

I also want to mention that, Johnny Depp is not Amber Heard's only victim. So far two women are known, Kate James and Tasya Van Ree. Unless you call those "mutually abusive" relationships too, think of why you do it to Johnny. Is it because he's a man?
