It doesn’t make sense to focus on privilege and trying to eliminate it; it would be far more logical and healthy to focus on rights and trying to extend them.
A grand politics > than a politics of ressentiment
E.g., it’s not a privilege that your last name may look more “professional” on a resume than mine, or that you may not fear the cops but I do. Those aren’t pluses for you. Rather, I am in a negative position and deserve to have my rights restored. We need to change the language.

Ibram Kendi’s entire platform is based on the argument that every single aspect of human affairs—every idea, policy or action—is either “racist” or “anti-racist” with no in between. Many of the same people who buy this also hold that not even gender falls on a binary so extreme.
When I heard him speak, I asked him this in the Q&A: if every significant discrepancy between “racial” groups is the result of racist policy, frankly how do we explain the powerful differences between “Asian” and “white” academic achievements? His answer was a complete dodge.
