When Arsenal beat the odds and proved the doubters wrong 💪🔴⚪️

🇪🇸 Real Madrid 0-1 Arsenal 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

In the Champions League L16, Arsenal upset the odds as they became the first English side to beat Madrid at the Bernabeu, thanks to some Henry magic. They overcame a side that boasted Zidane, Raul, Ronaldo, Beckham, Ramos & Casillas.

2⃣0⃣0⃣8⃣

🇮🇹 AC Milan 0-2 Arsenal 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

Again, Champions League L16, Arsenal visited the San Siro having drawn the first-leg at the Emirates 0-0. The Gunners scored two late goals through Cesc Fabregas & Emmanuel Adebayor to become the first English team to beat AC at the San Siro.

🔵 Chelsea 1-2 Arsenal 🔴

Table toppers Chelsea welcomed Arsenal, who had lost their two previous Premier League games. Wenger had a poor recent record against the Blues, however, this time Robin van Persie inspired a 2nd half comeback to claim 3 points for Arsenal.

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 Arsenal 2-1 Barcelona 🇪🇸

The Gunners took a 6-3 aggregate beating against the greatest side of all time the season before, & in 2011 they faced them again. Pep's Barca were overwhelming favourites, but RvP & Arshavin sealed a memorable 1st leg win at the Emirates.

🔴 Arsenal 1-0 Man Utd ⚫️

Sir Alex Ferguson's men were on the brink of securing the Premier League title, but Wenger's young Arsenal side, missing talisman Cesc Fabregas, weren't prepared to role over. A Ramsey goal was the difference as Arsenal showed their quality.

🔵 Chelsea 3-5 Arsenal 🔴

In the 11-12 season, Arsenal suffered an 8-2 beating at Old Trafford, lost to L'pool & Spurs, & it was only October. The boys rallied, came from behind twice, & put 5 past Chelsea to secure a famous win, helped by a Robin van Persie hat-trick.

🔴 Liverpool 1-2 Arsenal ⚫️

L'pool were undefeated in all competitions at Anfield. Arsenal had just suffered a major CL blow and were knocked out the FA Cup. Chasing a top four finish, Robin van Persie delivered a crucial 92nd minute winner at Anfield to shock the Kop.

2⃣0⃣1⃣2⃣

🔴 Arsenal 1-0 Man City 🔵

City were chasing the title with rivals Utd, while Arsenal were looking to seal a top four finish. Roberto Mancini's men went on to win the title eventually, but not before suffering what looked to be a title-ending blow at the Emirates.

2⃣0⃣1⃣3⃣

🇩🇪 Bayern 0-2 Arsenal 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

Despite losing on away goals (3-3) Arsenal beat all-conquering, treble-winning Bayern Munich at the Allianz to become the first and only side to beat them at their home-ground in the Champions League that season. Giroud & Koscielny the scorers.

🇩🇪 Dortmund 0-1 Arsenal 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

2013 Champions League finalists Borussia Dortmund were a formidable force under Jurgen Klopp, especially at home. Arsenal lost the home tie 2-1, but Mesut Ozil set up Aaron Ramsey's goal, a crucial one for CL knock-out qualification.

🔴 Arsenal 2-1 Liverpool ⚪️

L'pool were chasing the Premier League title, Arsenal were chasing their first trophy since 2005. Just a week before, the Reds smashed the Gunners 5-1 & were favourites to win again. AFC turned up & secured a 1/4 final place in the FA Cup.

🔵 Man City 0-2 Arsenal 🟡

Arsenal visited champions Manchester City and no one gave them a hope. Wenger had been criticised for a lack of pragmatism over the years, but Santi Cazorla & Francis Coquelin inspired Arsenal to a gritty, hard-earned win at the Etihad.

2⃣0⃣1⃣5⃣

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 Arsenal 2-0 Bayern Munich 🇩🇪

Pep Guardiola was enjoying his 2nd season as Bayern manager and his side were in full flow. They had won all 10 games of the season, scoring 35 goals, before suffering defeat at the Emirates, thanks to goals from Giroud and Ozil.

2⃣0⃣1⃣7⃣

🔴Arsenal 2-1 Man City 🔵(AET)

Pep beaten again! The Gunners were in awful form going into the FA Cup semi-final against City, who had a serial winner in Guardiola as manager and an expensively-assembled squad. Still, Arsenal came from behind to beat City at Wembley.

2⃣0⃣1⃣7⃣

🔵 Chelsea 1-2 Arsenal 🔴

Arsenal finished outside the top 4 for the 1st time in Wenger's 20 year tenure, & Chelsea hit a 93-point total to become Premier League Champions. Despite a close-looking score, Arsenal outplayed Chelsea in the final to win their 13th FA Cup.

2⃣0⃣1⃣8⃣

🔴 Arsenal 4-2 Spurs ⚪️

Pochettino's Tottenham delivered two-title challenges in 15-16 & 16-17, cruised past Chelsea with a 3-1 win the week before, and beat Inter in the CL. They were favourites to finally win at the Emirates, but Aubameyang and co. had other ideas.
