Lobbyist Richard Patient of Thorncliffe Communications at heart of Westferry scandal... publicly declared the £1bn development as paid client... and rather well connected... he regularly boasts of his connections to senior Tories including 'friends' Jenrick and Sir Eddie Lister..
Here is Patient and Jenrick just two weeks after the controversial Westferry development was given the green light. Jenrick's defenders say tonight he had no idea of the connection and this was standard stakeholder engagement...
And here is what Thorncliffe Communications have to say about Chris Pincher... the junior minister who Jenrick sent out to defend him in the Commons last week over his handling of the Westferry affair.... a friend of thirty years!

Last week Boris Johnson told the Commons he has never discussed the Westferry development with anyone... tonight No10 sticking to that line. Jenrick also denies friendship with Patient, despite the lobbyists boasts. And Patient? Well here it gets weird...
Thorncliffe claim to have stopped working for Desmond and Westferry in March 2019... yet 4 months later in July they declared to legally binding anti-sleaze lobbyist register that Des a paid client and updated that register three times since. And it's still there tonight.
