So, browsing the twitter feeds for the search term "Internet Archive", as I often do to find folks to help or collaborate with, is markedly less positive these last few days.

Except.
For the set of folks who are concerned about the Archive, and about various aspects of it, and especially, apparently, existentially - the tone of their tweets and comments are, I assure you, really heartwarming. These are folks who never have a need to mail in or comment. Silent
But now they do, and they're writing like they're losing a family member, or a beloved park, or a bar/hangout or, of course, a special, beloved library. Some are resigned, some are angry, and many are taking the time to shout out they're worried for something unique and special.
I don't know how many top-200 websites you can track down that have the feelings that archive.org brings out for the users, but I'm glad, honored really, to be working for one. I just thought for a moment I'd mention you're seen, lovely folks.
