I really want this initiative to work. But I won't be subscribing because I don't trust what Cummings will do with the data. Doubt I am alone, @MattHancock. 
That you choose to keep this man at the heart of Government, with all it implies for public health and consent to the rule of law, is on you @matthancock and you @BorisJohnson.
Assume (1) the Government is capable of making an app that works that (2) would have a public health benefit which (3) (as some suggest) would be diminished by my tweet, is it wrong to tweet as I have?
I can (and when I tweeted could) see the argument. But we are governed by consent. The reasons why many (including me) will not give their consent (for this app) are in the hands of this Government. And it is in their hands to seek to restore it. But they do not.
How should we respond? I know I won't download the app unless compelled. I believe many others think the same. Does it serve public health to hold this view and stay silent or to hold this view and speak it? I believe it is better to speak it.
