Sunday School #3 was just sent to 131 subscribers! This week's theme: automation.

Automation is not just tying digital tools together. It's also about knowing your workflows to the core.

A thread with key takeaways.
Have a reading system to benefit from books fully

How do you skim a book? How do you create a map of a book? How do you turn the author's thoughts into your own? These are essential questions for every reader.

A solid reading system has three stages:

1) Capture
2) Review
3) Integrate

Only by resurfacing your highlights and notes will you benefit from what you read. @readwiseio co-founder Daniel Doyon shares his view on how to make most of your reading:

Automating your workflows reduces friction.

Not having to worry about re-encountering your highlights and notes frees up mental space. If you *know* you will see your notes again, you will also be more likely to take them in the first place.
