Isn't it a mockery of India's premium university DU & the teachers that they can promote students on the basis of 1 and also 3 semester results but require to take #OpenBookExam for those who have given exam already for 5 semesters? MHRD must intervene.

A blind student who stays with other blind students in a Seva Kutir has her set of problems. In the message she wrote that she got it typed by someone because no one was actually around to type it for her. How will the university provide a typist for such students?

One of the students complaint that while participating in a webinar meeting whose agenda was "listening to the grievances of the students", she couldn't even voice her problems because of the disturbance in the connection. She stays in Delhi though, and not in North East.

There are colleges in DU who have proactively decided to organise a Mock Exam so that the students can get a hang of it. Well it is too much of proactivity on the part of teachers who have no choice but to listen to the administration or else bear the consequence.

DUTA, the teacher's association of Delhi University have come up with a letter where they have condemned it rationally - the Mock exam will not help because #OpenBookExam will be taken by central portal of the university and not on the college portal.

Now a technical question, is the University main portal ready to engage so much traffic at once, provided the kind of track record it has where to open the portal to download one's result takes ages.
(6/n)
Another technical question, has the university organised workshops om how to take such exams regularly or do the students have to learn that too from YouTube?

Lastly, when everyone is discussing mental health, peace and fight against depression is it really wise to test the students? Is our system so hollow that only an exam can give a sense of success?

The institution that are higher up the #NIRF ranking that the twitter world celebrated with hashtags are promoting their students. MIT (US) whose alumni contribution to the world is higher than the GDP of Brazil is not taking exams. Why not DU too?

So to whoever it may concern, directly or indirectly, kindly share it so that the #MHRD ministry can intervene. @DrRPNishank, the H'ble minister must understand that right now we must stand by & for the students because it is them on who a healthy future rests.
