There won't be long wars at the border in future, All countries in the world have big financial investments in other countries and financial lobbies are too strong to influence any government not go for wars as it has severe effects on financial interests.
Though there will be short face-offs like today's and rest will be dealt by Propaganda. Defence forces will handle those face-offs and handling the Propaganda part is responsibility of citizens. Just like we did in Doklam , 370 and against Pakistan in past few years.
Those big investments will be used to influence policies of the enemy nation, like China is trying in ours ( you all know usual suspects in media, politics and other fields). Our only responsibility is not get influenced by those people.
Our defence forces and current leadership is the best chance we have got, they will move mountains or die trying but never let anyone play with the sovereignty of our nation.
