At just two atoms thick – this represents the world thinnest unsupported gold.
It is truly a 2D material – every atom being on the surface.

UV-VIS shows extended absorbance into the near-IR with no strong absorbance around 520 nm (expected for colloidal gold nanoparticles)

@SerendipityWrk @etayyabi Population-level screening for infection generally relies on antibody testing. Tests should be low cost, easy to use & have good sensitivity. Sars-Cov2 infection leads to time dependent profiles of common antibodies IgG & IgM indicative of infection stage.
