Those who do not follow lockdown rules have been attacked for doing so (this from the Majority Group Whip responsible & paid to ensure Councillors follow the rules)

I reported this to the Tower Hamlets Council Monitoring Officer, response was that attendees unlikely to have breached Council code of conduct (see summary below for Cllr conduct rules)

I reported the event to the Police, they did not even ask me for a list of attendees but yesterday confirmed that they won't pursue this
I was not looking for FPN #covidfpn but at least some statement to caution attendees about rules

I was not going to report this to the Police, I really do not want to antagonise attendees but I knew the Council route will have no impact and this is serious

Lockdown has been difficult, I also had to make some difficult decisions about work & caring for niece
My own behaviour borderline i.e. ASDA but at all times I tried to ensure I did not pass virus on

"Reinforce the message – stay two metres apart
We ask you to reinforce the message where possible that everyone should remember to respect the Gov guidelines when outside..Keeping two metres away..vital to stop the spread of coronavirus"
