Natz interviews happening. Purpose is to provide info on reopening of biometrics, natz ceremonies, asylum interviews, green card interviews. 2

VIsitors may not enter more than 15 minutes before appointment. Masks mandated (does Trump know?). 3

Markings and barriers in the facility; health screening will happen; only attorneys and interpreters, parents of minors, immediate family members who are dependents or people helping someone with a disability.

No walk ins without appointments.

Appointments need to be rescheduled by calling USCIS COntact Center - 800-375-5283.

Rescheduling if a person isn't feeling well; not penalty. Seems like some self-interest on USCIS' part. Keep this as a permanent policy.

Now talking about ASCs that do photos/fingerprints. Worksheet to be filled out ahead of time rather than at ASC as before. WIll be mailed with appointment notice.

All dependents on application must show up for asylum interview, plus interpreter and disability helper and lawyers may attend.

Interpreters can't attend by phone in asylum cases. This is BS IMHO. 14

Now taking questions. ASCs opening 7/13 and in phases based on state and local stay at home orders and delivery of plexiglass barriers, etc. New notices may come out starting 6/29. 16

Don't show up to the ASC without a new notice. If your biometrics were previously canceled, you have to have a new appointment mailed to you.

Adjustment interviews are resuming unless the interview is waived (case by case).

But AOS and Natz interviews are being put behind natz oath ceremonies in priority.

Are interviews being rescheduled in the order they were canceled? Yes, generally. First in, first out. This is fair.

Attorneys can't attend via video for asylum and ASCs, but can for field office interviews. 20

Can attorneys socially distance from clients as well as examiners? In field offices, ASCs and asylum interviews generally the answer is yes, but if can't then attorneys can call in.

No exceptions to the mask policy. But what about the Karens?

Seriously, if there are medical reasons a mask can't be worn, contact USCIS ahead of time to talk about accommodations.
