We all know as Xhosa men that ukuba if you are a Xhosa Boy(inkwenkwe), theres a lot of things you can't do or can't get as inkwenkwe until you 'graduate' to manhood(not here to argue the actual process). KwaXhosa, We all know that for a boy to 'graduate' to manhood they have to
Go to the 'mountain" and there are processes that must be followed. If there's a deviation and you go to the Hospital, unfortunately you won't be considered indoda epheleleyo and you will be sidelined for the rest of your life.
Even amakhwenkwe have their own standards, if you don't fall within those standards, they sideline you. One example, ukuba uyinkwenkwe ethambileyo, you struggle as a boy. This is like a culture, it's unspoken but you as a victim you will know.
Ngoku size kwizi Starring zazeHollywood ezicinga ukuba zikwi violent action movie and their enemy is women. These are the men who think it's ok to beat and kill women because they think is the manly thing to do. Fok and society accepts that. "umfazi ufakwa ngeenduku endleleni"😔
First of all, I trust that we can come up with perfect Xhosa name for women abusers, I mean we have Names for women that can't have children, women of the night, women that aren't married, women that left their marriages and I can't even say them here because, WOW.
We as Xhosa men can a stand and start using our the very same culture we are so proud off and use it save our women by showing the culprits that aren't worthy to be amongst other people and must be sidelined until until. With no option to apologize
For the first 3yrs or more.
Amagranyugranyu was the 1st word that came to my mind.
Black Twitter can be very creative.
#XhosaNameForAbusers
We know our government doesn't take GBV seriously and those who get arrested are then released on bail or never arrested, so into yokuba sicinga ukuba umthetho will solve these issues masilibale. We need to come up solutions that can be turned into a culture & one day we can say
It is a Xhosa culture not to abuse women if you do you will be sidelined. You will not be allowed to sit with other people, no one will come to your household. We are not perfect but we can start something great. The nice thing is that we have been practising it for 100s of years
Basically the community must label you as an abuser(really need a derogatory term for this one in all languages), I'm sorry but abuser is simply ABnormal USER, meaning it's allowed to beat up women but not too much.
'Drug abuser' vs 'Women Abuser', this is just wrong.
Now we just need to tweak it a bit.

I AM Not saying other people can't do the same but okwangoku, bendisathethatha nabo bebethe basePhuphe LAM.

Mandiqale ndithi,
AllTribesMatter
But it was my dream and I am Xhosa
