Regulators appear to not be super-happy that @DeutscheBank, true to form, decided to prioritize short-term profits over...everything else.
We asked @DeutscheBank spokesman Daniel Hunter about the bank's more-than-five-year relationship with Epstein, which ended shortly before his arrest last summer.

He said: “Our reputation is our most precious asset. We regret the decision to associate with Epstein.”

I have strong feelings about this. Let me explain.

Soon after I moved to London in 2010, my girlfriend (now wife) forced me to throw out years worth of junk – including dozens of ancient notebooks, dating back to when I started in journalism in 2001....
@Nataliekitro @dvdwyer I'd kept them in chronological order. I could look up anything I'd ever reported on – coded in my own special shorthand.

Some of my earliest notebooks included interviews I'd done with congressmen I was covering for local papers in Wisconsin and Ohio....
@Nataliekitro @dvdwyer But I grudgingly acquiesced to my girlfriend's demands.

Less than two years later, Mitt Romney picked Paul Ryan to be his White House running mate. I had spent a few years regularly interviewing Ryan back in 2001-03.

But my notes were gone. It was an awful feeling.
