In 1930s No. 7 was fitted with a Deutz 110 hp air-cooled diesel engine. The other model 55 Brill railcars fitted with Gardiner 102 hp diesel engines.

#4 was converted to 3' 6" temporarily in 1954 to allow 111 to be overhauled

1928, a Model 75 and trailer were sold to VR by SAR became 44RM and 200MT regularly operated between Echuca and Toolamba. 44RM scrapped 1951. 200MT at Healesville.
