One of the ways the authoritarianism works is by moving the language goalposts continually.

Here is Pink News Editor Ryan accusing @Channel4News @FactCheck of transphobia and lying for saying the law allows a man to be recognised as a woman

Citing @JonathanCoopr and @echrso he says only a "trans woman" can get a GRC, not a "cis man".

What is the material difference between a trans woman and a cis man you might ask?

One can get a GRC and the other cant!

It's "conclusive proof" you see...

The GRA 2004 does not talk about "cis men" and "trans women" or gender identity, and nor does the Equality Act.

It asks for a diagnosis of gender dysphoria and proof of change of name, title and recorded sex on official documents.

Here is a survey question which defines transwomen as men undergoing/undegone a process of transition

@ryanjohnbutcher & Paul and John would presumably call this wording transphobic ?

Here is an explanation of UK law that says that transwomen without a GRC are legally male and thus men.

...and this is how the political and legal establishment handed over our ability to talk about womens rights, and about material reality to petty tyrants like Ryan of Pink News.

You can give in now, but when the language shifts again you might find the finger pointed at you.
