P. C. Joshi was the longest serving general secretary of CPI, Nehru was Communist minded Congressman, Pant was lifelong Congressman, yet the trio formed a close social & political clique which colluded with British imperialism
To complete the story, Govind Ballabh Pant's daughter in law Ila Pant became a BJP-RSS MP. Regardless of party, some families always remain in power
