I’m not sure if this is such a good idea on their part to keep doing this. 
A lot of people might not even go in the tag, just a quick browse of top trends & see at 28K tweets & no. 5 trending that White lives matter. Ok.
If they *do* go in, they just see people spamming gifs & having a hissy fit about not liking White people. That is a strategy I guess

Like they’re making the meme bigger than it otherwise would be. Wouldn’t go nearly as far if they just left it in this internet ghetto where no one would really see it. I get the argument “it has to be challenged, we can own them by overtaking it.” But I dunno. Seems unnecessary.
Maybe that’s just cope on my part tho that every little thing can be btfo’d.
