Q7. Has your place of work stayed in touch with you regularly during furlough?

Important DM: A7: Absolutely nothing. Furloughed since late March and since then one email and one phonecall. That's it. Not even a text, not even a friendly hello. I'm so many shades of emotional because of it. How can you do this to people? #MuseumHour - Z
I'm disgusted by this. What a vile way to treat your staff. I honestly don't know how managers or directors of an institution could do this. -S

DM: Since I was told I was being furloughed in March (with a week's notice) I had no emails, calls or msgs from my employer until last week, telling me they were bringing me back under p/t furlough in July. (1/2)
DM cont: The lack of communication or care from my employer has made me sad and a bit angry, and I am questioning whether I should stay there. (2/2) - Z
DM: Since April had one video chat with colleagues, a couple of emails, but apart from that I'm learning about our museum re-opening plans through Twitter. It's very disheartening, but I wanted to share so others don't feel like they are the only ones experiencing that - Z
DM: A7: Late to the party on this one but I am not furloughed (due to my role being externally funded) while my line manager and team are all furloughed. I've had one phone call from my department director since March, and feel like all my emails within the organisation get (1/3)
DM cont: sent into a void. Communication has been awful, I'm as much out of the loop as all those furloughed, and working all hours to try and manage the funded programme I run. (2/3)
DM cont: I feel isolated from my team who are all furloughed, and have no contact or support from those who are still working (mainly SMT) (3/3)
