It's intriguing that the person who put the noose in that garage benefits from living on stolen land, which was force farmed 246 years f/ free, even if his fam wasn't here yet, but he feels a need to intimidate. I never felt a need to leave such an object in someone's work space
Not one day I've been on the planet, have I been compelled to scrawl a slur on a wall, ask a stranger to go back to their country, bomb children, shoot old ladies @ a Bible study, chant invective @ marchers, yell a leader's name @ someone, or tell anyone I'm better than they.
It must be triggering to be entitled. I have less time or interest to hang anything in someone's workspace or yelling a slur @ them or put my hands on them, than I have to eat scalding hot glass. Ethnic superiority must be wild if you have to keep reminding me you have it
Imagine having every social advantage of gender & complexion, & needing to be fulfilled by burning a Christian cross on my lawn- or throwing a brick through my window. Think of the energy consumed in hating a stranger
The person who placed that noose in the garage roots for a college or pro football team that has ppl who look like Bubba Wallace on it
The other thing about the noose is, we were kidnapped. I'm not depriving you of doing anything from the moment you leave your front door every day. You may still even fly that flag, just not in that particular place.
You can vote. You can drive w/o being profiled. You can live in any U.S. community. You're not followed around in stores. You can attend re-open protests toting an AR-15. You can mass shoot & not be stereotyped. But placing nooses makes you feel good. I'd be content w/ your lot
The noose hangers were cool w/ me being here, until I ceased working f/ free
It takes more courage f/ Bubba to whip around that track @ 190 mph in traffic (& to take the stand he did), than it does to sneak into that garage stall & leave a noose visible
I don't need your noose to remind me how I'm treated in elevators, stores, restaurants, on flights, in traffic, in classrooms, on sports teams, while working my yard, at ballparks or on the job. I've never felt an urge or compulsion to leave you a symbol, token, or grafffiti
I have had far more pressing concerns since I was the age of the children in the "baby doll test", than going around intimidating strangers. My very complexion is intimidating to many. Don't have time to harass athletes or celebs. Not interested in doing so, either
It's silly there are even movies or tv shows or novels or music about someone having to earn another's respect or acceptance because one person's ancestors originated in a region where a high concentration of melanin was advantageous.
In that ecosystem, did the noose placer think Bubba forgot how he looks?
I bet the person who put the noose in there, expends more energy reminding himself of his identity, than I have to of mine
If Bubba devoted that much time to reminding others of their "place", he would never had any left over to have become skilled @ driving.
Imagine creating legislation to keep me from attending school w/ you, while my great-grandmothers and grandmother were educating & day caring your children
I hope I never think so little of myself, that I have to seek opportunities to demean others, sling children to the ground at pool parties as if they were rag dolls, create rumors ppl weren't born here, ask strangers what country they're from, or still not be over 1865
A noose isn't gonna scare a person who drives at 200 mph in heavy traffic, on a banked speedway, f/ a living.
Person who snuck in there & left it is more afraid of Bubba than Bubba is of him
You gotta be hella lazy to still be butthurt you no longer have a source of forced free labor, 155 years after the fact. I guess the nearly free labor of the 100 years after that wasn't enough
It must be intensely grating f/ noose guy to realize the sole thing separating him from the bottom of the societal ladder is me
A symbol of hanging Bubba w/o a trial, f/ something that was not even a crime
