Shipping is often an incredibly important thing through which queer women and trans folks figure out their identity, so dislike shipping all you want but don't minimise or shit on it when talking about LGBTQIA+ representation, for fuck's sake.
This is especially true for queer and trans neurodivergent people (I.e. me, a queer autistic woman), so maybe just back the fuck up with your anti-shipping superiority complex?
Some shipping culture is awful, and toxic, because some fandom culture is awful, and toxic.

Shipping is not beyond reproach.

But I will defend to the death the importance of shipping as a part of the queer and trans experience.
We do not belittle the importance of shipping in this house.

We do not belittle the experiences of queer and trans shippers in this house.

We do not belittle LGBTQIA+ representation if it has shippers in this house.

Accusing disabled people of 'defending Trump' because we ask you to stop mocking him in an ableist way is the height of bad faith and I think you all know that, actually.

I don't care about Trump.

I care about all the disabled people who need ramps or have unsteady hands seeing you pointing out his unsteady hands and ramp usage as proof of his awfulness or unfitness to lead.
I don't care about Trump.

I care about the fact that neurodivergent people are MUCH more likely to be victims of violence than perpetrators, and yet you want to assign his violent bigotry to neurodivergence rather than bigotry.

My feelings around Autistic Pride Day are complicated af, mainly because it takes place during Pride month and yet isn't focused on LGBTQIA+ autistics folks, and I've seen the creator aggressively refuse to listen to LGBTQIA+ autistics about the issue.
Also, the assumption that autistic spaces are inherently safe for LGBTQIA+ people is false. Yes, there are a large number of LGBTQIA+ autistics, but the autistic narrative is still driven by white cis het men. The queer and transphobia I've seen from within the community is wild.
I only really got involved in these conversations last year, but I know others have been having them for years, and they have been stressful and harmful to many LGBTQIA+ autistics.

Just feels weird seeing cis het autistics centring themselves during Pride month.

Racist autistic people are not racist because their autism means they 'don't understand racism'.

Racist autistic people are racist because they are racist.

Stop shitting on Black people, autistic people, and ESPECIALLY Black autistic people just to excuse powerful white men.
There's lots of racism in the autistic community, because white people in the autistic community are as inherently racist as white people not in the autistic community.

Racism is not an inherent part of autism. It IS an inherent part of whiteness.
I don't know if Zuckerburg and Musk are autistic. It seems like an armchair diagnostic label y'all only ever put on people you don't like, so maybe stop that.

But if they ARE autistic, they are still racist and awful in all the same ways they would have been as neurotypicals.
