The virtual Patriotism Luncheon was a wonderful program hosted by Project Patriot, Service for Veterans, and National Defense Committees. I teared up a bit listening to the accomplishments of these fine committees.

Medals: 561 Gold medals to graduating ROTC cadets, 2,526 Bronze JROTC Medals, & 389 Silver Medals to outstanding cadets in other military training. 2,806 Youth Citizenship Medals and 160 distinguished citizen medals.

800 single soldiers from the 101st Screaming Eagles returning from deployment were provided with sheets, detergent, pillows, and bath towels.
Walter Reed Medical Center: $15,000 worth of gift cards for Christmas party and for everyday purchases for injured Active Duty and their families. 7,000 masks were made and donated.
Landstuhl Regional Medical Center Germany: daughters provided requested Christmas list items for wounded soldiers.

Stocked Operation Bean of Life: located in the middle east offers transient soldiers a place of resiliency and comfort away from military life.
