1. It all started with the Hon'ble Allahbad HC decision dated 12 June where Indira Gandhi was held guilty of malpractice hence disqualified to hold MP office for the next 6 years in the case of (Indra Nehru Gandhi vs Raj Narain)

2.Even though at that time Judiciary didn't had much power, didn't had much power , as the appointment of Judges was in the hand of Goverment.
Still Hon'ble Justice Jag Mohan Lal Sinha showed the guts to deliver justice .In this case Indra Gandhi also attended the Court and

3. Faced the trial , it was Eminent Lawer Shanti Bhushan Ji who pointed out that Indra Gandhi lied in the court and used the District Administration for her election campaign , which is totally void.

4. Later on 12th June , the court held her guilty and "While convicting Indira Gandhi of electoral malpractices.

5. Justice Sinha disqualified her from Parliament and imposed a six-year ban on her holding any elected post.
Later she challenged the judgement in the SC , and when the trial was going in Supreme Court , her goverment also introduced ARTICLE 329 A - which completely BARRED...

6. The Hon'ble Courts from reviewing the Election procedure ,later this article was also challenged in Hon'ble SC and was struck down as it was contrary
Later "SC", stayed the order of Allahabad HC , but if it would not had been done today's political scenario would be different.

7.Later , she imposed emergency just to save her goverment.
And that Emergency was the biggest blunder by Congress Govt , which made the whole country suffe
Later she also amended the Election Rules because of which she was barred from contesting election and was held guilty

8. Then 39th constitutional amendment came which meant - It can't be challenged before any court , and it BARRED the Courts from questioning the election of President , VP and PM.
Which proved that she did it so as to save herself in the future period.
