Do you want to become a YouTuber and you want to know if it's worth it?

Below I'm going to break down everything that happened to me on YouTube so far (including statistics, earnings, etc...) and based on that, you can decide if it is for you or not. 😊
I posted the first video on YouTube on 7th Nov, 2019.

On 1st Jan 2020 I decided to go all-in on YouTube and I started creating a lot of videos and Live Streams (almost daily).

Got monetized and made my first $0.10 on 19th February 2020 (after 3 months). 💰
So far on YouTube I:

- Posted 91 videos
- Did 138 Live Streams
- Had 466k views overall (97.6k before being monetized)
- Made $1,479.04 out of which $476.20 were from donations (Thank you donors! 💜), $981.51 from ads and $21.34 from YouTube Premium.
That's around $7.66 / day from ads - the main source of income so far on YouTube.

Is it a lot? Well... not a lot for the amount of work I've put in, but not bad either. Hopefully it'll grow to a point where it can sustain my family. ☺️

If not, I have to rely on other sources.
Also, keep in mind that when I started on YouTube I had around 10k followers on Twitter which boosted the channel. So if you don't have a following on another social platform, it might be harder to get up and running.

Or you can have a "lucky" break and have YouTube promote you.
I hope you found some value in this thread and it was helpful for you.

I didn't post this to brag or anything. Well... making < $1.5k after almost 8 months of work is not something to brag about 😆, but you got the point...
Personal Conclusion:
I like what I'm doing because it combines my passion for coding with the opportunity to help people, which is amazing!

The goal is to get to help as much people as possible while having fun coding! 💜
