The crowd forms a barrier to protect the stage so the violists, including teens and children, can keep playing.
The police push people out of most of the park and form a wall. One violinist leaves the stage and gets on top a car and starts playing to the crowd that had been pushed out first.
They said they would arrest us or use chemical agents if we didn’t clear the area of the PUBLIC park where the vigil was being held. They advanced in a line and pushed us out.
The violinists played on the parking lot.
