When I said that CHAZ/CHOP security were "police" a couple weeks ago, it provoked a storm of indignation from people who idealized and defended these security forces.
Here were a few such replies. 
One guy even asserted that CHOP security weren't really "police" until they had killed innocent Black people.

It's also worth remembering that Seattle's mayor had this to say about the CHAZ/CHOP:

Note that this is the fourth CHAZ/CHOP shooting in a week (in a 6 block area!) and defenders are asking me if that's higher or lower than the typical crime rate in Seattle

Meanwhile, some CHAZ/CHOP supporters have labeled the incident a "drive-by shooting" (thus appearing to place the blame on the Black kids who were shot), and also placed blame on "capitalism".
