@PEdison369 Great question! There are different methods of cloaking: bending light around an object, making it go through/past an object, and interfering with someone's conscious awareness that something is there...
@PEdison369 I think aliens use the second method mostly, making light go through/past. If it were just optical bending, that wouldn't explain how they can dematerialize or walk through walls/windows. But the past/through method explains both. It would be like a slight shift into a 4th D.

@PEdison369 And this takes place along a certain dimension, whether it's space, or time, or a higher dimension ... and within a certain medium whether it's air in the case of sound or the aether in the case of gravity and electromagnetism.
@PEdison369 For example, frequency in the time direction is cycles per second, which is what we usually know as frequency. Frequency along space would be like peaks per meter, which is the spatial frequency and that's related to wavelength.
@PEdison369 Phase alignment in space is whether the wave starts here or slightly to the left/right/up/down/front/back. Phase alignment in time is whether it starts at a certain moment or earlier or later.
@PEdison369 Direction in space is where it's aimed spatially in X, Y, Z while direction in time is forward or backwards.
@PEdison369 And in addition to space and time, there may be additional degrees of freedom (dimensions) like for example the direction that separates one timeline from another, which would be like a T2 vs the regular linear time T we know.
@PEdison369 So regarding cloaking and gravity waves, we know from physics that gravity and time are interlinked. Gravity sets the time rate. If gravity is oscillating, then the time rate is oscillating. And that means something will shift ahead in time and then shift behind in time rapidly..
@PEdison369 If two objects have the same gravitational frequency and phase, their time rate will likewise by synced and (in one theory) that would mean they occupy the same physical reality...
@PEdison369 Because if you were 1 second into the future and I were 1 second into the past, we wouldn't be able to interact as neither of us share the same present. But if we are oscillating in time in the same way, both of us slightly ahead of time and then slightly behind, we can interact.
@PEdison369 So in that theory, through gravity waves an object can be de-synchronized from its environment so that it's not tracking with the time rate oscillations of the environment and therefore not much in the same 'present', hence invisible.
@PEdison369 But in another theory, it's not frequency that does it, but phase. Like, why are we in the now, and not in the 1 minute before now? Because our consciousness is locked into a particular phase within time, a particular moment. So we exist to each other as we share the same phase.
@PEdison369 In that case, by artificially shifting far enough forward or backwards in time, you would disappear from your current environment. Alternately, not forward or backward in linear time T, but maybe sideways to/fro along dimension T2.
@PEdison369 IMO the latter is what aliens are doing (smooth shift along T2 to phase in and out of here) but they very well could be altering the frequency/phase of linear time via gravitational waves which is closer to what you were asking about. In all likelihood they can do both.
