Brigadier Vikas Sambyal( 29May 1970- 02 July 2020) was a high ranking officer of the the Indian Army.

He was born on 29th May 1970 in Jammu and his family is resident of Thalora Mandi Samba, presently settled in Gandhinagar, Jammu. After 11th class he joined NDA in 1986 and was commissioned in 1990 in Indian Army.
April 2018 he picked up rank of Brigadier and commanded 509 EME Base Workshop in Agra and in Aug 2019 he took charge of Brig EME in Eastern Command Headquarters.
